World App has rolled out a major platform upgrade, integrating encrypted messaging, global payments, and expanded crypto asset support into one unified interface. The update introduces human-verified chat with visual authentication markers—blue bubbles for verified users, gray for unverified—to combat impersonation. Biometric-linked profile pictures add another layer of security for digital identity.

The platform now enables fee-free cross-border payments directly within chat threads, complete with transaction tracking and gift-wrapping features. VIRTUAL accounts allow for local deposits and rapid worldwide USDC conversions. Users can swap over 100 assets, including major cryptocurrencies and tokenized commodities like gold, all backed by verified security protocols.
